D-LIFE DEVO...
Jesus said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matt. 4:19). This is the Great Commission before the Great Commission, and every disciple maker knows exactly what this means. To have someone to disciple, we must regularly and relentlessly fish for people to join in our discipleship groups. We only need three or four people to start, but we can never stop fishing. Some disciples we will lose through attrition, and others we intentionally multiply out to lead new groups. So—as a way of life—we begin fishing for people today who will join our groups in the future. When my youngest son goes fishing, he often says, “These fish are not going to catch themselves.” This is true. But we can trust the Lord to fill our nets when we cast them out regularly to catch some disciples. So let’s go fishing! These fish are not going to catch themselves. Living the D-Life, Bill
